FAQ

Is there parking on site?

We offer on-site parking. Parking is $15 per night, per vehicle for overnight guests. The parking fee includes complimentary valet. Guests use room keys to access hotel parking.

Are there refrigerators and microwaves in each room?

Each room has a mini fridge. There is a communal microwave on each floor next to the ice machines.

 

What are your shuttle hours? How do we book the shuttle?

Our shuttle runs between 4am and 1am. We only schedule rides to the airport within 24 hours prior, other shuttle rides are on-demand and based on availability. We recommend calling the hotel after you’ve collected any belongings from baggage claim to request a ride from the airport.

 

What is your cancellation policy?

For standard reservations, we ask that you contact the hotel 24 hours before arrival to cancel with no penalty. Some reservations have different cancellation policies; we advise you read your confirmation letter if there’s any questions on cancellations. Cancellation policies vary when booked through third party websites such as Expedia.

 

Do you have a restaurant?

Our Port of Call restaurant is open for breakfast from 6:30am until 11am. The Port of Call Lounge is open from 3pm until 10pm.

 

Do you offer a complimentary continental breakfast?

We offer a full-service restaurant, entrance located in the lobby. It is not complimentary, although there are packages available that include breakfast vouchers (vouchers given at check-in).

 

Do you offer room service?

Room service is available during restaurant hours.

 

Do you have a pool and hot tub?

We do not have a hot tub. We have the largest indoor pool in Portland, located on G3. There is also a dry sauna in the fitness center.

 

Do you offer laundry services?

We have a coin-operated washer and dryer for guest use, located on the 11th floor. We also offer dry cleaning services provided by Pratt Abbot.

 

Do you allow pets?

We are not pet friendly. We allow service animals only.

 

Do you have a business center?

We have a 24-hr business center in our lobby.

 

What is the minimum age for check-in?

We require guests to be 18 or older for check-in.

 

What do you require for check-in?

We require the guest whose name is on the reservation to check-in. They must show a valid ID and have a physical credit/debit card to authorize at check-in for the full amount of the stay plus a $25 per night hold for incidentals. If the form of payment is unable to be present at check-in, we require a credit card authorization form to be filled out prior to the day of arrival.

 

Do you offer daily housekeeping service?

Daily turndown service is available upon request.

 

Can we set up a block of rooms for an event?

Event space and room blocks can be booked with our Sales Department. You can call directly or email sales@innbythebay.com.

 

Do you have cashless tipping?

There are QR codes located throughout the hotel for tipping housekeepers, waitstaff, and bellman.
